Screen Printing!   Leave a comment

I learned how to screen print yesterday! It’s a lot easier than it sounds. Apparently all you have to do is stencil the image onto a see through curtain (or something similar) and paint glue onto all the negative space. The glue prevents the ink from going where you don’t want it. Next you secure the material onto an embroidery loop and place it face down onto the t-shirt (or whatever) you want to print on. The last thing you do is use a sponge to saturate the areas on the glue-stencil  where you want ink. After it has been fully saturated peel the stencil off the shirt and allow to dry.

I have yet to try this but it sounds pretty legit. Hopefully I’ll try this weekend. 🙂
